Ubuntu 8.04.2 LTS released
Sure, Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope will be out in a few months and Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex has been available since October. But the folks at Canonical are still supporting Ubuntu 8.04 because it's what's considered a Long Term Support (LTS) release. And they've just pushed out the second major update: Ubuntu 8.04.2.
