29,000 registered sex offender profiles deleted from MySpace

The Associated Press reports that MySpace has found and deleted the profiles of 29,000 users who are registered sex offenders. That's four times the number MySpace officials had released two months ago. While that number might seem high, keep in mind MySpace hosts 180 million profiles.
