I've seen a
couple of approaches to the whole "move your music around" thing, and obviously there's still no perfect
method. If you buy Sony's ecosystem, it works OK. Apple's is good, but you are limited in devices. Microsoft seems to
get better all the time with Media Center and a slew of devices... But Skatter Tech has a quick how-to on streaming your iTunes music to your ...

If you use Pinnacle Systems' line of Studio
software, there's an update (10.5) that adds the ability to export your content to PSP and iPod. Even better though, is the coming export capabilities in their
PCTV line. You'll be able
to record TV shows, and fairly easily move them to portable devices. In addition, they are announcing new Mobile Media products,
designed specifically to move portable ...

Unlike Google Video, YouTube doesn't have an option to download videos for playback on your iPod or PSP.
What's to be done? Happily, Lifehacker has a short
how-to on downloading those videos and converting them to an iPod/PSP-friendly format. It takes a bit of fiddling
in the form of a Greasmonkey script or bookmarklet to download the Flash video file and a third-party conversion tool
to make it ...

An intrepid PSP
hacker has released a cool homebrew app called PSP
Universal Remote that lets you, well, use your PSP as a universal remote for many, many TVs and other devices. To
use it you'll need PSP firmware 1.50, and once you've got it set up you can choose your target device from a menu and
let loose, confusing the public with your remote control shenanigans. PSP Universal Remote is a ...

TiVo has released a public beta version of new software that will convert TiVoToGo video to formats
playable on the iPod and Sony PSP. The software will automatically transfer your recorded TV shows to your iPod or
PSP while you sleep, which is a blessing because apparently the transcoding takes awhile—up to twice as long as
the video itself. The beta is free but when the final version is ...

CNet
News.com is reporting that premium TV network Starz is launching a movie download
service called Vongo. Vongo succeeds the preexisting Starz Ticket service that
relied on RealNetworks software. The $9.95-a-month subscription service will be powered by Windows Media and Microsoft
is set to give it premium placement on its Windows Media devices, but the movies won't be playable on iPods which. ...

They probably wouldn't be getting so much press if not for recent Google buyout rumors, but Meetroduction have revealed that they intend to bring Meetro, their location-based Wi-Fi-meets-IM software, to the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP. I think this is a brilliant move; mobile gaming gadgets are the perfect platform for an app that emphasizes casual ad-hoc chatting. Though you can download Meetro for ...

Not like we're planning to step into our sister blog Joystiq's territory, but I figured this warranted a mention on DLSQ: Apparently, Sony has delayed releasing its highly-anticipated 2.0 firmware upgrade for the PSP to "sometime this week". Besides breaking support for "homebrewed" applications, this update will bring an embedded browser and support for wirelessly swapping ...
