The number of countries where Microsoft's Office Web Apps are available has continually grown since the apps' first preview back in September of 2009. Recently, Office Web Apps have become available in 15 additional territories, and then in 150 more last month. Based on a post from the Windows Team blog, it appears as though users are indeed heading "to the cloud!" Live Mesh -- the company's cross-device synchronization and remoting platform -- now boasts more than 5 million connected devices.
