Yahoo has just launched Mafia Wars and FishVille, two games developed by Zynga, the company best known for FarmVille and its other games on the Facebook platform. In the past few months though, Zynga has shifted away from being tied exclusively to Facebook and has launched its games on Windows Live Messenger, MSN Games -- and now Yahoo.

A rumor has started making the rounds across the interwebs, and it has something to do with Google possibly launching a fashion shopping site. Apparently, it all started with a tweet from an "anonymous New York fashion PR", according to Frockwriter. That tweet was the cause for a lot of coverage in itself, until it was made public that many people in the fashion world had been invited to a Google ...

Digg has announced that it's adding a Breaking News module to its service. The module can be seen on the right side of the Top News, My News and Upcoming pages on Digg. SugarSync has announced that users of its basic, free plan will now get 5 GB of storage 'in the cloud'. Previously, that limit was 2 GB -- a limit that its main competitor, Dropbox, still has. The free 5 GB plan includes unlimited device support, and, as before, you can sync any folder(s) you wish across computers (Windows and Mac) and smartphones running iOS, Android, Symbian, Windows Mobile ...

Within any wave, there's now an Export menu that lets you save the wave and any attachments that have been added ...

Oh wow, another goal tracker. How exciting is that?
If you caught yourself thinking something like that upon seeing the title of this post, I'm sure you're not the only one; it's exactly what I thought when I first came across 42goals.
Then, I started playing with it and realized it's actually pretty cool. It's kind of like Joe's Goals on steroids.
Some goals are best tracked with a simple "+1" ...

Hosting Reviews is a neat free service for comparing a myriad of Web hosts. It uses a rich, AJAX-y filtering system with plenty of parameters. The list is dynamically updated as you apply various filter criteria, and it's very easy to narrow down to the exact hosts that offer the features you need.
In their press release, they make a pretty bold claim: "Unlike many hosting comparison sites -- we ...

I'm a big fan of services that help me keep spam out of my inbox, and I'm an even bigger fan of services that make it dead easy like 2 Prong. Like many, many other services 2 Prong gives you disposable email addresses that you can use when registering for web sites that require a valid email address and clicking on an emailed validation link. What makes 2 Prong special is that it reduces this to a ...

Amazon has just launched Elastic Compute Cloud (or EC2), a "Tier 0" service in the same vein as S3 (Simple Storage Service, launched earlier this year), but for processing power instead of storage. Amazon describes EC2 as "a web service that provides resizable compute capacity in the cloud ... designed to make web-scale computing easier for developers." Developers can run anything they want on ...

without even visiting the Sabifoo web site. Just send a message to sabifoo on your IM service of choice (or
sabifoo@sabifoo.com for MSN or Jabber) and it'll be added to your ...
