Skype 3.5 Beta is out, with a bunch of new features, including call tranfering. You can transfer calls to any Skype user for free, but if you want to transfer a call to a SkypeOut number, you'll need to sign up for Skype Pro at $3 a month, even if you've paid for an unlimited calling plan.
