Feb 25th 2011 10:41AM Wow Sebbie, Feel the love? Macs "just work"... really? I'm in IT as well and one of our larger customers started migrating to Macs and there are tons of problems. As a matter of fact every LOB (line of business app) has to be run in Parallels (thats not Apple's fault right? Wrong.) Interoperability is the reason cloud computing is taking off and the reason we all enjoy a "PC" (sorry but Mac's are personal computers by definition). Business drives OS usability and Gamers drive technology. Home users are the bi-product of businesses drive to productivity and usability to increase profit.Apple's innovation comes in the form of the iPhone which caught the mobile market by surprise, and the iPad which took the PC tablet and made it sexy, light, and affordable. Also, props to the original iMac for the all-in-one concept done right. (which also saved Apple from it's fate as a sidenote in the history of technology)So, enjoy your bias Mac love and I'll enjoy the fruits of MS labor. (BTW, I have an iPad, iPhone, and 1st gen Apple TV and I love them)Last point and more to the nature of the article:Everything is a rip off of everything. You can trace ideas way back.I hear some people say Facebook was a myspace rip off. Yeah, if you are 20. They both are glorified BBS sites. So haters, when someone writes an article talking about Apple using Windows features or Windows using Apple features, remember the spirit of progress. Expose is alt-tab with pictures. (done well, but Aero Flip is better, and Mission Control might be better than Aero Flip and hopefully someone will come out with something even better.)Flames start in 3,2,1.....
Sep 1st 2010 3:06PM @ Ct David, right click on a folder or image. If you just right click on the desktop it only gives you a sort desktop option. Took me a minute to figure out.See if that works for you.I have no idea how to add a favorite folder though, as the favorites context menu only give you favorite filerfrog commands and not locations....

Jan 13th 2010 4:12PM "This arguably gives the Wii an edge over the Playstation 3's built-in Blu-ray player and Microsoft's Xbox movie store."I hope you are being a wise ass, as both of those consoles already have Netflix, and for the Xbox 360 there is no disc required to stream.
Dec 27th 2009 12:24AM Jordan, you can rename the My Computer Icon. I just had not done it yet. Also, the only thing hard coded (that I have run into) is the start menu image.Once the locale is changed, you are good to go with the installed apps as well.
Dec 27th 2009 12:02AM Sebastian: I extracted the iso, copied over the default isolinux file from Cosmic Koala, made it back into an iso then installed it in vmware. It asked me to set up the username and password. After logging in I was then was able to change the language by using the following command in the terminal: sudo locale-gen en_USfor anyone else who wants to give it a spin...pic: http://i50.tinypic.com/2lar9s0.jpg
Oct 1st 2009 5:51PM anything that prevents two rows of shortcuts in my quick launch "toolbar" is ok by me. (Even if it does add one more to the system tray.)
