Bengals-Browns: Just Awful (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Sep 28th 2008 3:57PM And one more thought: the late Pete Axthelm would have dubbed this game a "lethal injection game" - if one had a choice between watching this game and getting executed the choice would be to take the needle...

Bengals-Browns: Just Awful (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Sep 28th 2008 3:49PM I made it through the first quarter and then decided to tackle less mind-numbing tasks, such as catching up on folding the laundry.

Kobe Bryant, All Growns Ups, Will Not Be Distracting Us Again This Offseason (Fanhouse NBA Blog)

Jun 21st 2008 3:26PM Hopefully Kobe can keep it in his pants and stay out of the limelight this off-season. A long shot; but one can dream, huh?

All Vinny Testaverde Wanted Was a Nice View (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Jun 8th 2008 6:27PM Then again, it doesn't take much for the Feds to declare a piece of land a "wetland" - if it has a puddle there, they go ape and protect it. *sigh*

What's your offsite backup solution? - Ask DLS (Download Squad)

Nov 19th 2007 1:55PM I second the thoughts on Mozy Home. After taking about five days to do an initial backup, it now takes about an hour a night to do an incremental backup on my home machine. Well worth the $4.95 a month IMO.

Aug 29th 2007 6:43AM I wish George the best; but does anyone find it somewhat surreal to hear a retirement announcement from Google?

T-Mobile Dash gets Windows Mobile 6 upgrade (Engadget Mobile)

May 3rd 2007 7:10AM Having snagged an early copy of the upgrade, I give it two thumbs up.

TMO's rendition of WM6 seems to be much more stable than WM5 (IMO worth the extra 5MB or so of memory usage overhead the new firmware uses), the UI seems snappier, and it's nice to have Office Mobile installed now.

The best part of the refreshed UI is the optional music plugin for the home screen. It works pretty well and is a nice alternative to having to use the full Windows Media Player app.

As for the warnings to back up things, I'd still heed them. I simply backed up my personal data to the micro SD card on my Dash, ran the upgrade application (it was a breeze), rebooted twice, and in less than 15 minutes from starting, I was finished upgrading.

All in all, well worth downloading and installing...
