BlackBerry browser to get full Flash and Silverlight support? (Engadget)
Aug 19th 2009 2:02PM @andrewwildman You are a moron, period. The iPhone browser (Safari) is hands down the best browser available on any mobile device. People who hate the iPhone don't even argue this point - well haters with common sense that is, the rest simply don't deserve to be considered.
Yes, this is AT LEAST 2 years away. In that time, Flash will already be implemented into Safari by Adobe. Having faith in RIM engineers is the true definition of faith =)
MLB updates At Bat 2009 for iPhone, gives live streaming to MLB.TV users (TUAW.com)
Jul 21st 2009 4:15PM HOW do I, as a paying subscriber to MLB.tv, get all of the games on the app for streaming? I am currently only getting the one freebie that everyone else is getting. Anybody?
Firmware roulette: Storm build 4.7.0.141 allegedly fails Verizon's testing (Engadget Mobile)
May 12th 2009 10:29AM Common, yes. Makes sense? No.
What an overly generic methodology for carrier testing. Do the most basic functions a bunch of times, if no errors = good to go? Jeez I seriously hope there is a little more brain function involved in testing. Such basic testing (and subsequent patching and retesting) shouldn't take months to perform.
The problem here is the crappy carrier. Crappy Red is more appropriate than Big Red.
How to fix the Windows 7 7057 desktop.ini startup bug (Download Squad)
Mar 16th 2009 11:33AM i had to give up on Win7, even though i loved it, because it wouldn't maintain my home wifi connection (had the latest drivers as well). it would work for a few hours and then go away. google'd and found no help regarding this matter.
Engadget's recession antidote: win a Nokia N85! (Engadget)

Next-gen iPhone evidence lurking in latest firmware? (Engadget Mobile)
Jan 29th 2009 11:12AM iPhone on Verizon? LMAO. Ur complete and utter morons if you ever think Apple will be on Verizon.
Also ur a complete and utter moron if you think Verizon has a better network and/or coverage than AT&T.
Palm CEO says Europe gets Pre in the first half, too (Engadget Mobile)
Jan 9th 2009 3:41PM @moo moo - should he have used a Euro instead? freaking get a life. each country is different, but each is recognized as a piece of Europe. jeez. have you gotten a life lately?
@ backbeat - its called an exclusivity period. if they are doing UMTS/HSPA bands period, they will almost inevitably be producing a North American 3G version. remember Palm is trying to get back into the game and be a real player. not offering their new flagship to over of the US would be suicide, financially speaking.
Hands-on with T-Mobile's BlackBerry Curve 8900 (Engadget Mobile)
Jan 8th 2009 10:00AM Svelte alright - BUT passing on the 3G might come back to bite you if the recent rumors about AT&T moving EDGE to the 1900mhz band are true (read: won't work indoors very well).
Down for everyone or just you? AT&T experiencing a major data outage on the East Coast. (Engadget Mobile)
Sep 3rd 2008 11:05AM working great in Nashville, TN..
AT&T touts 20% boost in 3G data speeds (Engadget Mobile)
Jun 4th 2008 5:33PM uh the network will work and it will be available. why you ask? i believe that what Time Warner cable is doing w/ regards to caps and tiered pricing is what the providers (both wired and mobile) are headed towards. this will control the network, as well as pay for the network IF their are teens and joe techs sucking the bandwidth.
