People are starting to submit their links to Mahalo! (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)
Jun 2nd 2007 4:08PM Sorry, I didn't realize clicking the confirm link again would move my comment... just wanted to be brought back to the entry. Anyway, thanks for the reply. I don't know that I am that engaged in it where I want to get into a discussion (just offering some general feedback), but I'll keep that in mind.

Jun 2nd 2007 2:08PM One of my sites is actually already in Mahalo (was at launch, I think). But, I did submit 3 other links. I do think they are all worthy of inclusion, but I think all of them were placed in that 3rd bullet point you mentioned.
I think it's an interesting site and I'm happy to be featured in that one SERP (and hopefully others as time goes by :)), but one thing that I kinda don't like is that you link to individual news articles in a lot of entries that aren't really even noteworthy. For example, take this page (I submitted a link here because a site I run is the most comprehensive source of Diddy and Bad Boy news online):
http://www.mahalo.com/Diddy
Why are "Diddy Clears Up Danity Kane Pregnancy Rumors, Aubrey "Was Playing With Y'all", "Diddy Leaves London Club After Drunk Man Tries to Kiss Him" and "Diddy Laughs Off Miller 'Romance'" featured in the entry? They were not noteworthy stories. I mean, sure, some gossip mongers loved them, maybe - at the time they came out, but that time has passed and if we look at them with perspective, they aren't even a blip on the radar.
I'd think that quoting dated, not terribly noteworthy/gossipy stories would lead to unnecessary work needing to be done - i.e., those stories will have to be removed in the future to keep the page from looking too far out of date.
Anyway, I look forward to watching it develop. :) Thanks.

Plantronics DSP 400 Headset (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)
Dec 15th 2006 8:19AM Hey,
I was using a Platronics Audio 90 headset, but after hearing your show (liking how it sounded) and hearing what headset you used (you mentioned in an earlier episode), I bought one. I like it. I use it for podcasting exclusively because it takes over my PC when it is plugged in.
But, I mentioned the headset to a friend of mine who is getting into podcasting and he might be getting it as well. So, you helped them sell a couple, at least.

Dec 1st 2006 10:08AM 708k is awesome. Not by any means disappointing. If you look at all of the first week numbers throughout the year, you can get a pretty good gauge of where it falls.
