Apr 22nd 2011 1:34PM Hands down, the most economically friendly thing you can do for Earth Day is to not buy anything at all.
Apr 11th 2011 6:12PM What is this trend, in both video game and movie trailers, of showing a blank screen with occasional flashes of image? It's so cliched, and seems to say mostly "we haven't finished our movie yet". The blank stretches seem to get longer each year. Perhaps they should just leap forward to showing a black box and asking us for money.
Apr 4th 2011 11:01AM We've had ours for years and I've never had to reboot it. I didn't even realize that was an issue with other routers.
Feb 1st 2011 10:14AM The most important thing for me would be a macro or keyboard shortcut that would automatically insert the current date. Which of these tools can do that?
Oct 27th 2010 11:25AM A total disaster. Wouldn't install VBA. Re-installation and rebooting doesn't help. Online help links to a blank page on their website. Phone support connects to a recording "sorry our phone system isn't working right now."Meanwhile, in the parts of the software that it bothers to install, it leaves a "purchase options" menu item in place, even if you have already paid for the software, suggesting the payment somehow was not valid, or was not recorded. If you select it, it asks for your 25 key product ID and, if you enter it, it report it as invalid. Is everybody in Redmond mentally challenged?
Sep 30th 2010 7:58AM I still have a small pile of Kodachrome 64 in the freezer to finish before the end of the year, but I look forward to trying this afterwards.
Jul 22nd 2010 9:46PM Kodachrome will be developed through late December of this year. I'm not sure why your headline writer thinks otherwise.
Jul 19th 2010 11:09AM Khan "is credited" with inventing the camera phone? No, he *credits himself* with having invented it. Not quite the same thing.
May 24th 2010 6:09PM Forget Sprint or Verizon. What I want is an iPhone on MetroPCS. It's the only carrier I've ever used where I felt I consistently got what I paid for.
Jan 19th 2010 10:21AM 1. Early digital camera did not have preview on the camera.2. Apple's first digital cameras (the Quicktake models), for example, did not.3. *Somebody* invented it, it was clearly good, and everybody copied it.4. Kodak says they have a patent and, given how early they were to the digital camera space, this seems totally believable to me.5. Assuming the patent is good, Apple and Canon and Nikon and Sony should license it from Kodak. Period.
