Video: Underground Racing Lamborghini Gallardo shatters 250 MPH barrier in Texas Mile (Autoblog)

Apr 26th 2010 5:33PM If you look more closely, I doubt he was blasting the a/c and music. All the vents for air-flow are shut and the navigation/audio screen appears to be switched off.

World's most costly beer: The one that led an Apple engineer to misplace his phone (TUAW.com)

Apr 19th 2010 9:23PM I could care less about the fact that is was stolen. What is the biggest d**k move is posting the name AND facebook profile AND photo AND last status update.

Bharti Airtel will sell iPhone 3GS in India (TUAW.com)

Mar 19th 2010 12:51PM I'm just curious where you got that "Most Indian service providers struggle to ensure decent call quality". I have relatively experienced the exact same call fail rate as the US and in cities like London, the networks are horrible compared to Indian cities.

It is true that 3G is just being bid upon which sucks however.

Mar 17th 2010 12:59PM @mascarpone First it was Apple paying Engadget and now it's Microsoft. People need to make up their minds.

Phew! 'New Moon' Fails to Clinch Opening Weekend Record (Cinematical)

Nov 22nd 2009 11:45AM Minor note but I never knew $130 Million was more than double $68 Million.

$68M * 2 = $136M

Is South Park too focused on reality TV? (AOL TV)

Nov 4th 2009 7:55PM I don't care that its ripping too much on reality TV. The show seems to be suffering from Shrek syndrome.

They started out with relatively original and good plotlines and suddenly midway became focused only on pop culture and the latest news to parody. Occasionally that can be good but it has to be balanced aka Pixar.

Add Apple's free Backup.app to your backup toolbox (TUAW.com)

Oct 13th 2009 6:15PM Going along the backup theme, can you recommend any online backup ideas for Safari/Firefox bookmarks/preferences? I'm trying to get off MobileMe and have replaced Mail with Gmail (now with push to iPhone), storage with dropbox and don't really need any of the Back to my Mac/iPhone features. The only thing remaining is the quick bookmarks and preferences for Safari and Mail!

Tata says it sells over 51,000 Nano "booking forms" in five days (Autoblog)

Apr 7th 2009 8:31PM LS2LS7: You seem to assume that I somehow said that the other countries were independent in their success.

The US definitely played a huge role in the surge in many developing nations including China and India. That however doesn't mean that I agree how it was carried about. Just debt and fake money which is what the US and a lot of other economies are based upon have shown the huge flaws in the system. All while India and China who actually have REAL demand are the only countries in the world with actual growth.

All the "demand" from the US market has now evaporated but these countries are still experiencing LOWER growth because of the "strong fundamentals of the economy". I'm happy that my country isn't in the same situation but that doesn't mean I'm not empathic. You can't be happy that your countries the only shiner while people in other countries are suffering.

Apr 7th 2009 5:55PM You do realize the fact that India isn't a communist country right?

Even then, what exactly has the mighty America done other than use a financial system which has pretty much set the world in the worst economic situation since the Great Depression
