Nov 16th 2005 3:25PM If Apple could get people into the habit of going online to look for new music and discover new artistes, then the record companies would be unecessary. All you need is a system for rating and categorizing new songs submitted by artists. I don't see this happening to soon, because these days songs are promoted through music videos which are still expensive to produce without some form of sponsorship.

Nov 10th 2005 4:01PM We are not impressed. Part of what makes adwords so special is that you can start it anytime, pause it anytime, test a million and one different ads and choose the ones that work most. This enormous flexibility is going to be missing from any paper-based advertising system.
