PSP firmwares 2.0 - 2.80 hacked for homebrew (Engadget)

Aug 28th 2006 7:23PM For all the homebrew addicts have you ever heard of GP2X? That's meant to be homebrewed(?) for. It's based of linux so all the proclaimed hackers are always busy messing with it. It's pretty tight I should have gotten that instead of the PSP. You can use SD cards and it can act as a USB-host so you can directly upload pictures to it or use the iPod as its hard-drive or any other portable hard-drive.

Conclusion: PSP != Homebrew. GP2X == Homebrew Only!

Nicholas Carr nails it. (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)

Ask Download Squad: Google - good or evil? (Download Squad)

Aug 27th 2005 12:03PM How is GMail scary? Every major email provider keeps a record of every email sent through its servers so unless you want to create an email server for yourself and give every person you know an account go ahead. But as long as google doesn't use the emails as black mail or profit by selling personal information to others I am fine with it. Its not like they have people sitting there reading your emails its just a computer that looks for keywords so there's nothing "evil" about that. P.S. For some reason ppl think I am mad when I make pro-Google comments against someone who's against it. I am not mad just questioning your reasoning.

Are you getting web clippings in your Gmail? (Download Squad)

Google Talk Review (Download Squad)

Aug 24th 2005 12:14PM Well I think that GIM is better being basic than bloated with stupid additions only a few people can benefit from so they are just trying to test the waters with this IM and I guess the changes majority of the ppl want will get added to future devs and the minor nuances certain ppl get can be fixed via some kind of API they probably will release for it. just a prediction
