Jun 10th 2007 9:50PM Gee, 600 miles in a 225 HP car. How exciting. What next, first-hand impressions of visiting the mall in a Scion xB?

Jun 9th 2007 3:46PM What does Snake-Oil Science have to do with "Luxe" themes??? Or is this magic paint just obscenely expensive?
May 24th 2007 9:42PM Qtpfsgui. And the Linux guys wonder why they haven't stormed the desktop market.
May 23rd 2007 4:21PM Personally I've always thought Adobe was very overrated. They often do have important and useful products, but the quality, convenience factors, and pricing were always way out of line, and they just seem to be getting worse. But, like Windows, their products are always "good enough" and often just slightly better than what you can get on the cheap (let alone free), so they aren't going anywhere any time soon.
May 22nd 2007 11:48AM Sadly I haven't been able to find any product like this which is approved or compatible with US building codes. I looked at a LOT of these kinds of flush-mount overhead shower systems while we were planning the master bath for our new house, and in the end we just gave up and went with a regular 12" rain showerhead.
May 21st 2007 12:20AM It's technically interesting, but about $1K carefully spent on a boring old smallblock Chevy would eat that thing for lunch, and you can wedge one into everything from a Miata to a motorcycle without all that much hassle. At $30K a pop, it seriously begs asking the question, Why bother?
May 21st 2007 12:11AM That has to be the most Hoover vaccuum-cleaner-inspired headlight/brake-inlet treatment I have ever seen. That has to be the most staggeringly unattractive front-end in recent memory.
May 21st 2007 12:08AM Jalopnik's writeup was a lot better. Certainly less whining.
May 18th 2007 7:50AM That last image is an example of what qualifies as "beautifully built" in Second Life? Geez.
