September 9 iPod event gets some corroboration from AppleInsider, still no word from Apple (Engadget)
Aug 26th 2009 4:26PM Matt - I wasn't aware that the ZuneHD had a GPS? Does it have a camera as well? What are the other features the ZuneHD has that you want? Because what I'm looking at, the iPod Touch has many more features than what I've seen advertised for ZuneHD. I think you can almost bank on the iPod Touch getting bumped to 16/32/64GB capacities, and we know the camera is coming as well.
What Snow Leopard feature are you anticipating the most? (TUAW.com)
Aug 24th 2009 1:59PM I don't think there is "one" feature I'm looking forward to. I'm looking forward to all of them, making my computing life just a little bit sweeter. For instance, the underlying packages for PHP, Subversion, Ruby, RoR, Perl are all updated to the latest versions. That's a big improvement (Apple usually ships with versions that are a bit older).

10 Safari plugins that could make you drop Firefox (Download Squad)
Jul 20th 2009 1:24PM Ian - have you tried using the WebInspector in Safari 4? Go to Preferences > Advanced > Shop Develop in Menu bar. After that, you can right click on an element, and get the "Inspect Element" option on the menu, giving you a very Firebug-esque inspector that lets you make changes to code on the fly, see bandwidth profiling, and more. Very very handy.
iTunes Store now infected with variable pricing, Amazon still $0.99 (Engadget)
Apr 10th 2009 1:29PM Geez, would it have killed Endgadget to update the story with the fact that all the online MP3 distributors updated their prices inline with iTunes? I know, it would change the story from being "Apple is evil" to "The record companies are evil", and that wasn't the main intent when it was published, but come on.
Adobe says no way to Vista updates (Download Squad)
Mar 21st 2007 6:35AM Why is this news? Adobe didn't release interim updates to make their software work better under OS X, or OS X on Intel. It is just the way they do business.
Xbox 360 Elite: new, black limited edition Xbox with HDMI and 120GB drive (Engadget)
Mar 20th 2007 3:25PM I thought Sony blew it with the PS3, but now that I have a HDTV, I can't see paying that much money for an XBOX 360 Elite, when for $20 more I can get a comparable console with a BluRay player. The BluRay player is the clincher. I thought the XBOX 360 was supposed to have a HD DVD player built-in?
