Mar 23rd 2008 5:35PM In most versions of "You Don't Know Jack" if you type "F*&k You" as the answer to a "Gibberish Question" the host will respond with a long rant along the lines of "Are you talking to me? On my show? F*&k Me? No F*&k you!" The game continues at that point, but if you keep entering the same response the host's responses escalate until he finally says "You don't seem to understand who's in control here -- goodbye." and the game is abruptly shut down. Good times.

Pandora gets commercials (The Digital Music Weblog)

Jan 8th 2007 8:32PM Right now the audio ad is just a test — we've put it out there to see what our listeners think. It's running for a limited time, and only a small subset of our visitors are hearing it. The ad is 9 seconds long and is "NPR-style." There's just the one ad you heard.

This response is just the kind of thing we need to hear during this period; so thanks for posting about this.

There are significant costs associated with delivering Pandora and we have to find ways to cover those costs to be able to continue to deliver the service. We're always trying to strike the right balance between keeping the site going and not doing anything that takes away from the experience of listening to Pandora.

I really do hope you'll stick with us as we sort through all of this; we certainly value your feedback.
