Silent podcast (TUAW.com)
Nov 5th 2005 11:26AM Oh and Conrad Quilty-Harper - holy cripes. You like the 'philosophy' of downloading junk to your computer that takes up space but has no purpose? Uh, yeah.
Silent podcast (TUAW.com)
Nov 5th 2005 11:22AM A silent podcast?! How zen! How hip, intellectual, and clever! MAN! These guys have some REALLY great ideas! Here's an idea - If you need to 'reflect,' turn off the computer, you moron.
You're in Charge: What would you change about iChat? (TUAW.com)
Nov 3rd 2005 11:47AM When i minimize my ichat conversation, I want the option not to have my buddy's ugly buddy icon in my dock. I would rather have a nice high resolution AIM icon (or something) in my dock when I minimize my buddy's window. And, I want the ability to turn on and off time stamps for EACH instant message, not just every bunch.
Microsoft Patents Smart Playlists? (TUAW.com)
Sep 26th 2005 2:16PM David, you seem to be a little confused about how patents actually work. A patent doesn't just get granted to the first person who sends in the forms to the patent office. It works based on who got there first. If Apple can prove that they "invented" this technology before Microsoft, then MS's patent can be thrown out. That doesn't just mean that they had to have implemented it first either, it could mean letters to lawyers, design docs, emails - or whatever. It's all about the date, and it looks like MS has it and Apple doesn't.
Dear Steve, Please release OX for all x86 based machines (TUAW.com)
Aug 23rd 2005 3:08PM Just one correction to #8. Microsoft doesn't make "$Billions" off OS Sales, they make $Billions off licensing that OS.
Pandora: web-based music service that finds your favorites (Download Squad)
Aug 22nd 2005 9:39AM Uh..Music Genome? How absolutely backwards. And if they wish to incorporate another 10,000 artists into their application, how long before we wait until they (or their 'specialists') decide what "genes" each song has? And since when did someone else decide what "genes" a song has for each individual? What a perfectly wrong way of doing things.
