DASH GPS REVIEWED: BEST PRODUCT OF 2008 (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)

Apr 10th 2008 5:27PM If we got more people to take Mass Transit and Bikes we wouldn't have this problem Jason. I say Double Car Registration and gas tax. Take a bike and leave the Corvette at home and you will save on your Doctor bills later.

Lessig for Congress - wishful thinking? (Download Squad)

Feb 16th 2008 2:21AM Lessing is really interested in getting corruption out of Washington Politics. If you read his stuff and listen to interview lately he doesn't like the money influence in politics. If he feels he can do that quicker as a Congressman the he might run.

Why I think the iPhone is stuck with Cingular (Download Squad)

Jan 18th 2007 5:24PM The first thing I think they decided was to go with GSM radios. They have a lower power drain, are accepted in more countries, are cheaper than CDMA chips, and have a future in broadband cellular technology.
I think Steve had to just pick one provider to get the network capability of random access voicemail.
In the end he picked Cingular(I mean AT&T)over T-mobile because AT&T has more customers that could potentially buy the phone without switching providers. I too will be waiting until at least 2009 to pick this one up.

Windows use is growing quickly on mobile phones (Download Squad)

Oct 23rd 2006 10:07PM I have to say Symbian OS, Nokia phones are the most elegant and simplest designed interfaces( thats a good thing). I have a BB 7100 that has had the OS crash twice on me so badly that the phones had to be returned to T-Mo. Palm Os doesn't support 2 programs running at once which puts it behind Win, but it is the most stable I believe. I'd take the E70 over a Treo 680 hands down.
