Mar 21st 2011 5:25PM Waiting to try this on my 2010 13" MBP, but I'll go ahead and update my Hackintosh rig. Less mission-critical work, and full disk backup.
Mar 11th 2011 5:07PM I'd like to sync my research papers and such, to make reading on the go easier.
Dec 7th 2010 8:08PM Definitely the Vapor. Very classy!
Nov 15th 2010 12:39PM Fellow Bobcat here, in Russ College of Engineering. I see a few Macs in the EECS dept. Professors love them too, I have several that use all Macs.Go down to the library, and all you see are Macs. I was strolling around last night, trying to find a place to study, and I saw a sea of MacBooks on the 2nd floor.
Dec 31st 2009 10:18AM kenmeng gets +2. Some great apps there, thanks!
Dec 21st 2009 12:49PM Transformers, nothing beats 'em. I have lots of them, and I still remember how to transform each and every one from 15 years ago.
Dec 5th 2009 6:58PM My dad just got a new 27" iMac, and I'm inheriting his old iMac G5, so this would be a great addition to a (still) great computer! I'd use it for my main Time Machine backup drive, and maybe even try to stack a few more on it.
Dec 3rd 2009 11:42PM How will these procs with 4 threads compare to a Core 2 Quad? Will it be like having a pseudo quad core processor, or more like a Core 2 Duo?I ask because if I'm going to replace my black MacBook with a new MBP, I'd like to have quad-core of some sort.
Oct 31st 2009 7:55PM I could definitely use a new bag!
Oct 23rd 2009 11:12AM Just FYI, if it's like the newer 1410 that just got released with Win7, then it has a DUAL-CORE Celeron 2300. Ignore the name, it's basically a stripped down ULV Core 2 Duo with less cache. Twice as fast as the original Core 2 Solo that came with the earlier 1410, and a hell of a lot faster than an Atom proc in any netbook.
