Is my iPhone making me dumber? (TUAW.com)

May 12th 2010 12:24PM I´m having the same problems. I have an iPhone for just two months now, but I think that all this problem is because of the huge quantity of information around us, plus RSS, twitter, facebook, flickr, etc. All of this doesn´t help us to stay focus on small everyday things.
The "my wife talks and I hear blablabla" example happens to me every time, so I DOWNLOADED an app for my iPhone to store every to-do I need to get done. I decided to go to a Neurologist to check if this is getting worst.

CloudApp: Terrible name, useful little app. (Download Squad)

Nov 5th 2009 5:35PM I think papaya is more useful than this one, but is not free. And File Shuttle does the same thing but works with your own server for free.

May 1st 2009 6:30PM If she is a real professional video editor, she can install Avid Media Composer on her PC (a professional and Oscar winner editing application used on most of the Hollywood movies and TV Shows). But Avid Media Composer works for Macs too, so she could buy a MacBook Pro for U$S 2000 + TAX.

Farewell FireWire? (TUAW.com)

Oct 15th 2008 9:20PM It's one of the worst moves made by Apple.
Now the difference between a notebook with firewire and one without
it is U$S 700 and that's a lot of money for just a firewire port.
I don't need a Macbook Pro to edit video using iMovie or Final Cut.
FireWire is not "just another port", people DO WORK with this port
and most of the digital camcorders of the world have a FireWire port.

I really hope to see a re-upgraded Macbook with a firewire port.

Dropbox: Seamless file upload and sharing (TUAW.com)

May 22nd 2008 2:19PM I would be great to test this service, if anyone want to send me an invitation, please?

By the way, did any of you tried using DropShare to share files without copying them to a server? Is fast and works great if you need to send something to anyone right away without using any IM service. Take a look: http://www.dropshare.net/

OS X 10.4.10 causes audio pops in some Macs (TUAW.com)

Jun 24th 2007 2:52AM I think it has another problem too, since I updated to 10.4.10 (I have a Macbook Core Duo/2 Ghz/ 2GB RAM / Week 36) it doesn't show my external hard drive on the desktop. If I go to Disk Utility I have no External HDD mounted, but at System Profiler, under the USB menu it shows the external hdd connected. The weird thiing is that Mac OS X 10.4.10 "Improves reliability when mounting external USB hard drives." as Apple says on the Update Info. HEEELP!!
