Jun 14th 2006 2:09PM Everybody likes to demonize the record companies for "ripping off" the artist. What they are ignoring is a key phrase from Weird Al: "This is the one thing about my re***negotiated*** record contract that never made much sense to me". He negotiated this contract!!! If he didn't like it he shouldn't have signed it!! To be fair it doesn't really sound like Weird Al is complaining but other people do seem to get very upset on his behalf.
