White iPhone 4 delayed until Spring 2011 (TUAW.com)
Oct 26th 2010 10:44PM I built a white iPhone 4 using genuine OEM parts. The white is off a little but not by much at all so I seriously doubt that is why they aren't releasing it. I think they are holding off on releasing it until the redesign they iPhone 4 all together as a cover up. The reason I think this is because my white iPhone 4 doesn't have the issue with the proximity sensor; so if they were to release the white one with a fixed sensor, they would have a huge issue on their hands and have to do a recall on the black one. I even updated my iPhone 4 to 4.1 before replacing the glass to white and it still had issues with the sensor not picking up when it was close to my face; it's not an issue with software, it's an issue with the hardware (not letting enough light in). The white digitizer/lcd glass piece has been corrected and just works; I never accidentally hit any buttons and the screen doesn't turn on when I'm on the phone. Just my two cents.

Jun 12th 2008 11:44AM Actually ATT is awesome about not crippling the Blackberry! I've had the 8700, Curve, and the Curve Titanium all of which ATT didn't touch. Yes they might have added the shortcuts to the media crap on the desktop (which is EASILY hidden), but thats the only thing I have noticed. I love my Blackberry and ATT as well.
