It pretends that it would be possible to read two pages at the same time but with it's only 1024x600 resolution it is only gimmick - you barely can display something properly in the portrait position.

But honestly: this is something new - Asian companies usually show nice looking Asian girls next to their stuff being just nice and cute.
This advertisement tries to put some meaning into those womans life so I can call this a step forward. Maybe someday we will see a advertisement where womans actually use the devices they advertise.

Yeah, I have this feeling for the long time. Unfortunatelly, the 16:9 resolution is only good for TV's. And personally, I do not want to have a TV resolution for my PC monitor and for my laptop. 19:10 is perfect for the PC monitor and 4:3 is really good for the laptop.

I completelly agree! I already heard people wining that iPad screen is not a widescreen. Come on! 16:9 is a TV resolution!
