Reactions to Ghost Whisperer's big twist (AOL TV)

Nov 9th 2008 1:05AM I'm upset with him dying, but I can see how it can propel the story. My main beef was how he died. Any cop worth his salt would not have fired at a silhouette. If Jim had been shot by Hunter with the rifle, I would accept that death more. It was a stupid way for him to die.

Toshiba's Super Bowl 2008 ad: the final act of desperation? (Engadget)

Feb 4th 2008 4:19PM This commercial actually aired during the preshows before it aired during halftime.

Heroes: Fallout (AOL TV)

Dec 5th 2006 9:17AM I forgot about Radiation Man and that could be how/why Peter explodes, but I was also theorizing about the "saturation point" that Kristi mentions.

Also, Jessica didn't miss and DID mean to kill DL. Her next shot was at his head, but he managed to "ghost" himself in time and it went through him and blew out the tire.

I'll also echo my agreements about Eden, she killed herself so that Sylar could not absorb her ability. And the Haitian did not erase Claire's memory.

Will I ever have enough hard drive space? (PVR Wire)

Dec 4th 2006 4:05PM Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that WinXP (at this time) can only recognize 2.2TB of HD Space.

Blockbuster's Total Access plan allows in-store returns of mailed movies (Engadget)

Nov 1st 2006 3:33PM Returning mailed DVDs to Blockbuster is not really "new", we've been doing this all summer (this is only our second year on the plan, we mailed them back last year). The only thing added was now they can be used as a free rental coupon.

The Amazing Race: Can Horses Smell Fear? (AOL TV)

Sep 26th 2006 3:29AM To answer the question, yes, horses can smell fear.

Are CableCards Doomed? (PVR Wire)

Sep 15th 2006 3:23PM I don't understand why you are stating that the TiVo 3 is the only 3rd Party device with built-in CableCard. My Samsung 42" DLP TV (HL-R4266W) has a CableCard slot. And I've had the TV for nearly a year. Would that be considered a 3rd Party device?

Schedule TiVo recordings through TV Guide (PVR Wire)

Sep 11th 2006 10:39AM Considering that TV Guide tends to be only 50% correct in their listings (IMHO), this isn't such a great idea.

NewsRadio: Smoking (AOL TV)

Jun 25th 2006 2:24AM I loved NewsRadio. I hope you do a review of of my favorite episodes (I don't know the name of it), where Bill is trying to do a sports promo and Dave has a little fun with the editing, basically telling Bill it's too long. So while working with the sound editor, they come up with this edit:
I'm Bill McNeal. I like boys. I smoke crack!

I was rolling when I heard that!

PBS television shifting to HD (DV Guru)

Jun 23rd 2006 9:22PM Your title to this post is a bit misleading. Here in Los Angeles, PBS was one of the forerunners in switching to HD.
