Feb 22nd 2007 6:09PM Kevin, you have to look at my post a little closer. I used a integrated install for XP meaning all the updates were integrated into the installation files (a process called slipstreaming) so there is no entry in Add Remove Programs. This is great because you don't have to install 100+ patches after installing Windows. Unfortunately in this case I need to remove the pile of poo v6 RDP client but don't have an entry in ARP or $uninstall routine so I am on the hunt for a manual removal solution. Windows replaces the files if you try to rename or remove them, and then nothing with rdp works.

Feb 18th 2007 4:52PM Unfortunately if you have used an integrated install for XP (slipstreamed) then the unistall options are not available. There is no entry in ARP and no uninstall entries in Windows. I tried to rename the files as mentioned above and ended up using system restore just to get a functioning RDP again. It's hard to believe that MS pulls crap like this so I am still looking for an uninstall option so I can reinstall the old version.
