ExtensionFM is the first killer extension for Google Chrome OS (and it's not even here yet) (Download Squad)
Mar 19th 2010 9:48PM Well, I seem to be the only commenter so far that thinks this has major potential. Thing is - Nothing plays! It just keeps bouncing from song to song, trying to find one it can handle.

Feb 23rd 2010 5:34AM Eric,
You asked for Windows native, but I went on the same quest as you (except for Mac), and had zero luck. The most light-weight solution I've found is a chrome plugin that uses the touch version of FB. I think it has notification support, and it takes almost no resources.

10 web apps you should be running on your Mac with Fluid (Download Squad)
Nov 3rd 2009 10:24AM Here are a few others that play well in fluid:
Blip.fm - I use this as a system menu item, so when I want to change songs, I just click in the system menu and get a nice dropdown.
Friendfeed - I set my user agent as iPhone, so then I get the iPhone version. Not as nice as the original site, but great for a quick check.
Fumbleview - http://fumbleview.com/ - Again, this is great when user agent is set to iPhone. Keeps you up to date with NFL scores.
Weather Underground - http://i.wund.com/auto/iphone - Awesome as a system menu app. Just a quick click shows forecasts, etc

An Open Letter to Gmail: Happy Halloween! We love your costume! (AOL Mail Blog)
Nov 1st 2008 10:56AM I second Joe from above. Yes, AOL has a place in internet history, but when I grew up and realized you didn't need AOL to get on the internet (many years ago), I was sent into billing hell! I went for months trying to cancel my service, being told it was canceled, then seeing it on my statement again. You remember this...right AOL? I mean, it made national news.
The time you spent crying to the public to "Look at me..look at me," would have been better spent studying Google and learning a thing or two about service, reliable products, and ease of use.
The editor-in-chief giveaway: Win Ryan Block's gadgets (Engadget)
Aug 23rd 2008 1:16AM Hmmm....not sure I have enough time to decide what I'll keep, and what I'll sell/give away. I already have a Jawbone, so I promise I'll give that to the North Shore Animal League - except I'll probably take the medium ear gel thing because I lost mine, but I'll gladly add my small to their jawbone. I promise. Dogs need love too. :-)

Outpost to manage your Basecamp projects from iPhone (TUAW.com)
Jul 7th 2008 6:11PM I found 43actions.com a few days ago and it's my new fav. They are planning a native app, but the web version is perfect. Much faster than inozbe, and was inspired by 37signals.
