Metareview - Guild Wars: Nightfall (Joystiq)
Nov 10th 2006 10:44PM Excuse me but 'aging graphics engine'?? I think Guild Wars looks graphically like a gold piece compared to WoW, EQ, Second Life or any other current MMO!
The booth babe lineup, a TGS tradition (Joystiq)
Sep 24th 2006 12:26AM @25: you're wrong! It isn't illegal! There's just a pantie-vending machine some corners around the blocks of where I live (and no, I haven't used it). And my niece-in-law sold her used panties once to a special shop for it. Also this used-pantie topic is stone-old, exists since decades, so why these surprising comments?!!

Sep 23rd 2006 7:18AM Living in Tokyo now since three years I don't know what you critics problem is! These girls and the way they act ARE part of Japans culture and you will not find something similar in any other country! You should be glad!
The Vista startup sound: You can't turn it off (Download Squad)
Aug 28th 2006 6:35AM Ridiculous action by Microsoft! But I'm sure there are going to be way to remove or change the sound! It's bad however for non-technical users because they are screwed. Everything that goes against customization goes into the wrong direction for the future!
Single player RPGs are alive and well (Joystiq)
Jul 31st 2006 10:44PM What pisses me off is that all named games have a fantasy theme! Is there nothing else today anymore? Why does everybody want fantasy? I can't see it anymore! Do ten space themed, dystopian themed, or whatever themed RPGs but stop making fantasy RPGs goddamit!
SWG reaching for the stars! (Joystiq)
Jun 29th 2006 12:35AM This 'Player Event' is basically one big huge Grind! You have to collect medals and you get them by fighting enemies! You need 5000 medals to buy one of the new armors (which I'm sure is mediocre). There are also quests for crafters and guess what it is? Right, a masochistic grind!
One positive thing to mention about the game tho ... They will bring back target locking! It seems SOE finally regocnized that the manual targeting is bollocks!
SWG: Three glorious years of mediocrity (Joystiq)
Jun 27th 2006 10:24AM I just resubribed for a month (on probation) to see if anything changed for the good. The Result ist: SOE still sucks and seems not to notice that the NGE slowly draws player more distant. They prefer to nerf good things, give the Jedi what they want if they start whining and don't fix bugs that are ages old!
There's one good things that I see, the Quest quality has slightly improved but the targetting is a mayor annoyance and a step backward in usability. (more throughout report soon on dataleak).
Celeb bans gaming from home (Joystiq)
May 26th 2006 12:28AM Too much fame can be harmful for some people! His movies suck anyway (except Minority Report that is) so I don't mind refusing his movies!
Thompson's Rockstar mad-on intensifies (Joystiq)
Apr 1st 2006 12:25AM Ridiculous stuff! Every sane person in the world knows that games don't kill people! People kill people! I think Thompson just had a very frightening childhood!
Ballmer's kids brainwashed against Google, iPods (The Unofficial Microsoft Weblog)
Mar 31st 2006 11:14PM Well he looks like a retard on that picture so I wouldn't wonder that much about how ridiculous he is! What I wonder is how such a person can be chief executive at MS!
