Egypt has had 3g for longer than the u.s., so now Egypt is more technologically advanced than the u.s.? more like areas like Egypt and europe are more densely populated so its easier to deploy 3g networks like that. Apr 21st 2008 12:41PM Thats because skype uses something called p2p, the same system that torrents or joost use. It means that its decentralized and too many people being on skype wont cause a slowdown, instead it will speed it up because there are more people making the network faster.
