Liven up Address Book with Avatars (TUAW.com)

Dec 30th 2007 2:49PM Okay, evidently I'm the only one who can't figure this out. I just downloaded Avatars 1.2 and I can't figure out how to use it. According to the project site, I just select Card > Download Custom Image, but I don't see any such option when I click on a name in my address book.

I installed using the installer package that I downloaded from MacUpdate. Anyone have any idea what I'm not doing right?

Nov 8th 2007 3:31PM Wonder if the Cmd+Tab shortcut, as stated, is correct for Mac. That's the equivalent of Alt+Tab on Windows and cycles through open applications.

EMI abandons CD DRM (The Digital Music Weblog)

Jan 31st 2007 4:59PM I just purchased Norah Jones' latest CD "not too late" (an EMI production) and am unable to import the content into iTunes in order to listen to the CD on my iPod. This is the first CD I've ever purchased with DRM applied (I didn't even know to look for it nor would I have known what to look for) and it will *certainly* be the last.

Since I listen to music on my iPod 99.99% of the time I spend listening to music, it seems I've just purchased a very expensive coaster.
