2010 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: A prince is crowned king in the Emirates [Spoilers] (Autoblog)

Nov 14th 2010 3:40PM The biggest spoiler was in the thread title itself. When will Autoblog learn how to properly title an article without spilling the beans? Or at least don't pretend that you are trying to not spoil the race results.

I would've liked Ferrari to win the title to finish off an astonishing comeback late in the season, but I couldn't be happier to see Vettel and Red Bull win it as the next best outcome.

Sep 9th 2010 1:43AM That's not a gun turret, nor a pair of balls. It's the head of the Michelin Man hanging upside down from the bottom of the car !!

Apple's 4th-generation iPhone revealed (Engadget)

Apr 19th 2010 10:53AM I like the look of it, except for the visible seams or gaps in the body panels. Hopefully this is a prototype, and Johny Ive would work his magic wand and make those seams disappear in the final design.

I'm in line for this one whenever it comes out!

Supposedly legit WePad video gives us a case of the JooJoos (Engadget)

really? Has it been established in a legal court that it was Fusion Garage that has stolen the IP from TechCrunch or vice versa? I guess because Fusion Garage was an Indian (non-American) company, they must have "stolen" the IP from poor Arrington.

People rationalize stuttering on Apple products (my iPhone3G stumbles occassionally) but God forbid a non-Apple product stutter once in a while!!! That would be its death sentence. This is the kind of bias I am pointing out. Engadget could not wait till the Wepad came out to judge it... they had to associate it with the specter of another failed product even before it had a chance to come out. Great journalism!

No, I have not bought the Joojoo, and will not buy an iPad either. But I don't question the merits of the Joojoo or the Wepad to exist or their manufacturers' effort to bring to the marketplace alternatives to the glorified bloated iPod Touch.

The amount of snark and condescension heaped on FusionGarage and the Wepad guys is astounding. I can't wait for the day all our gadgets are bestowed upon us by Sister Steve.

Apr 16th 2010 9:19AM Let's prematurely pronounce DoA any aspiring small company product if it dares to challenge the mighty Apple, eh Engadget? You've done a bangup job with the Joojoo. Wepad is next. Good job!

2010 Formula One season kicks off with Bahrain Grand Prix [SPOILER ALERT] (Autoblog)

Mar 14th 2010 6:27PM I love F1 to bits, and wouldn't miss a single race, but I think the new 'no refueling' rule is going to kill an extraordinary season !!

Given how close the times of the entire field is, how is taking away fuel-strategy and its implications on the time in the pits going to make the races anything but a procession? With 2-5 second long tire changes in the pits and at best 1-2 pit stops in a normal race, how are the races not going to be anything but a procession?

I am very disappointed with this race and what the 'no-fueling' rule portends for the rest of the season. :( Vettel was absolutely right in predicting the race was going to be boring.

I would like to see the no-refueling rule scrapped next season, or make it mandatory to make 2-3 trips to the pits so that there is an element of strategy involved in spacing the pit stops rather than just string a Conga Line from start to finish.

It is a Mini going on the 'Ring in the reverse direction. Not a Mini driving on the 'Ring in reverse!

Report: Stirling Moss falls down elevator shaft, breaks bones but OK (Autoblog)

Mar 8th 2010 8:52AM Wow! He is 80yr old, fell 3 floors!, broke both ankles and four bones in his legs.. but will still make a recovery in 6-weeks? Hope it's true and he makes a speedy recovery - albeit it'd be surprising to make such a speedy recovery from such injuries at such an advanced age!

Good luck and best wishes grandpa!
