Do DomainKeys really work? (The Unofficial Yahoo Weblog)

Apr 1st 2006 2:15AM I've noticed the domain keys symbol on a large portion of the spam I'm getting lately, most frighteningly on a pair of Paypal phishing emails that made it to my inbox rather than my bulk mail folder. So if those are going to get the ok, how could I possibly trust Domainkeys to symbolize anything of value?

As for y!mail v. gmail, I just got into the yahoo beta and love the interface, but the gmail idea of keeping emails and their replies in threaded 'conversations' just makes so much sense I aorely wish Y! would pick up on it.

Mar 5th 2006 1:28AM Love your stuff, but disagree on this being a good move. The people it really hurts are the charity and grassroots orginizations who reach out to countless people though free email and which would no longer be cost effective if they had to pay even a small surcharge to show up as 'preferred' mail. A signifigant number of them from across the political spectrum have come out against the idea and I hope that Yahoo reconsiders.

Feb 7th 2006 10:04PM Seriously, what do the rest of us have to do to get in on this beta! It's driving me nuts. I got on the list in like November and nothing! Even a tenative release date would be welcome so that I can stop eagle eyeing my mail page in the hopes of seeing the elusive notice that I've been included.

Or I could get a life. That, however, seems cumbersome and unlikely.
