Aug 1st 2005 7:33PM Actually, it doesn't really rely on WiFi technology at all anymore. Automatic location-awareness via WiFi is just a bonus. Land line / non-WiFi users can manually enter in addresses, if so desired. Regarding the safety issues, keep in mind that if you're less than a quarter mile away, Meetro never actually reveals anything further. In other words, there is never a displayed distance less than .25 miles. If you guys have any ideas for improving security further, please feel free to drop me a line. I'd love to hear your feedback.
