DS Fanboy review: Picross DS (Joystiq Nintendo)

Jul 30th 2007 8:31PM It's really quite simple once you start working at it.

The numbers on the left will state how many coloured squares will be in that row, the ones on top state how many will be in that column.
So for this, you just have to fill it out.
__1___1____1____1___2_
5 |___|___|____|____|___|
1 |___|___|____|____|___|

To solve this puzzle, you have to add fill all this in. On the far right is a colum for 2, and there are only 2 Squares, so those would be filled in.

As there is only one block to be filled in for that bottom row and it was done so at the end, your done down there.
On the top row, just fill in the five and you will be done.

Picross DS has a great training mode all it's own though, and it's much more clear then what I just said.

DS Daily: Genre talk (Joystiq Nintendo)

Jul 29th 2007 6:02AM Puzzles in general are my favourite titles.

Tetris, Luminess, Picross, etc alone can give me more then enough enjoyment in gaming.

Action/Adventure titles are a close second, and what ever the hell Tower Defense games are third.

Opera 9.5 coming soon (Download Squad)

Jun 22nd 2007 7:32PM I've been using Opera for well over a year now and I've found it all to work quite well on most every page I go to.

When I do encounter a problem, I usually change the options around or add a widget and it's fixed or edited so the problem isn't that bad.
Luckily it has a great community for itself so any questions are quickly answered or someone helps make a widget for it.

For Gmail, I use the Gmail checker widget, it does the job.

Of course I mainly use Opera over Firefox, IE, and the two or three others is because of the shortcuts and mouse/wand movements.

This new Firefox add-on is oh so del.icio.us (Download Squad)

Apr 6th 2007 3:15PM So it's getting closer to Opera, good, very good.
Hopefully they go above and beyond though, so the competition will make it even better.
