New York Attorney General files Dell deception lawsuit (Engadget)
May 16th 2007 4:36PM I have had a first hand experience of the Dell financing scam that the lawsuit mentions. Apparently I wasn't the only one. Can anyone post a link to join the suit if it is a class action?
Dell "designs," you decide: lame or very lame? (Engadget)
Apr 30th 2007 5:18PM Isn't Dell the design reference for lame? Just look at anything they make. Don't tell me that it has to be expensive to look half decent.
Snoop Dogg chooses video games over charity event (Engadget)
Apr 21st 2007 1:00AM I read quite a few blogs besides Engadget during the day. Sometimes I feel like reading only and only gadget news and I presume that Engadget is a good source of such tech news. If I wanted fun blog entries I would go elsewhere.
I don't mind a fun non-tech realted entry every once in a while, but Engadget is making this a habbit. I am a religious reader of this blog, by the way.
What's next?... a fun entry about how Paris Hilton got late for her pedicure while playing with her sidekick, perhaps?
Currency's 810 HP, twin-turbo M5 (Autoblog)
Feb 23rd 2007 5:07PM I assume Currency Motor Cars engineered their own transmission to go with 810 HP, because the stock one would shred easily under that much power.
There is a reason why drag-racing and performance are two very different concepts in the automotive world.
Apple DRM declared illegal in Norway (Download Squad)
Jan 25th 2007 2:37PM The scenario that many years from now Apple may cease to exist, go bankrupt, or may decide not to support iPods any longer is not impossible. We all thought Enron was healthy.
I can not imagine how I would feel if after 20 years, when I have amassed terabytes of songs from Apple's iTunes store, I will be left with no options to play them because Apple had locked the songs to the iPods, which could face the hypothetical demise.
Rapom V8 bike produces 1,200 horsepower and loose bowels (Autoblog)
Jan 25th 2007 9:51AM I am not an expert in transmissions, but it's hard to believe that this bike actually transfers 1200 HP to the back wheel via a chain. All I know is that chains are just not suitable for the torque produced by this engine.
