Jan 16th 2011 7:48PM Because the internet has enough slutty sites already and TV has Spike?

XCOM revival announced; to be developed by BioShock 2 team (Big Download)

Apr 28th 2010 1:43AM Yeah, this is a huge insult to a legendary title and the sensibilities of gamers.

Did James Cameron Steal the Plot for 'Avatar'? (Scifi Squad)

Jan 8th 2010 7:26PM Its not so much the formulaic nature of the story, which has been done about 9000 times before (I can think of at least three animes with nearly identical plots and elements). What really galls me is how Cameron comes out of mothballs to ride on the coattails of the bleeding heart, phony-balony enviro-freak religion. That far in the future and its still the "evil humans" out to rape the universe and kill the blue fuzzy-wuzzies! Cameron, you are DONE, pal - if this is all you have to offer, please, crawl back into the sea and film some more coral reefs, you hack. I just feel sorry for my friends who told me about this worthless piece of cartoon propaganda - thank goodness I didn't pay to watch it.

VGA 2009: Felicia Day on Felicia Day (Joystiq)

P.S.: Who's that redheaded girl?

Chevy Volt color contest finalists include EV-ergreen, environMINT and Viridian Joule [w/VIDEO] (Autoblog)

Nov 16th 2009 1:13PM I knew GM was losing it, but these are their picks? Oh well, seeing as how they sold their souls to the Marxists currently in power, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

All your OS are belong to US... with Apple's new advertising patent! (Download Squad)

Nov 16th 2009 1:09PM Um, I hate to say it..but in this case the author is correct. Yahoo charges for POP3 access, which means their only free option is webmail (complete with ads and all the rest of it). Gmail still works just fine with Outlook, thx very much. Google is the only real search engine, and iTunes is still the best "total package" when it comes to an interactive music catalog.

Blockbuster kiosks to offer movies on SD cards, you some candy as you checkout (Engadget)

Nov 11th 2009 2:25PM Their starting to get a clue! But nobody has a TV with a card reader so you have rent the film, take it home, copy to computer and THEN copy to your iPod or whatever, and finally hook that to your TV. Far too much effort. Until they allow direct transfer to devices that have TV-out, or provide a set-top box with an SD slot, or until sub-$200 Blu-Ray players start including SD slots, this is pointless except to geeks with HTPCs or other high-end home theatre gear.

Hey, Google: failing to spellcheck Android 2.0 can have 'undesireable consequences' (Engadget)

Nov 10th 2009 11:03PM Perhaps it has to do with his tight-assed, petulant reply to lotusaurus. I'm not a Google worshipper, but hey Chris Z., If you can't take it, don't dish it out.

EA to lay off 1500 workers, close some facilities (TUAW.com)

Nov 10th 2009 10:04PM Um, shouldn't this be on Joystiq or something? Esp. seeing as how EA barely supports Apple.
