Firefox 3.1b2 is here - faster javascript, still no private browsing (Download Squad)

Oct 17th 2008 6:11AM The fact that none of your ext's failed is, of course, relative; several of mine failed.

I just graduated from 2.16 this week, so I'll wait awhile to make sure my ext's are good to go. I mean, without them, what's the sense?

Nodobe Viewer adds bloat-free document display to Firefox (Download Squad)

Oct 6th 2008 7:23PM Thanks for not mentioning that you need to open an account with them to use it. Hopefully FoxIt (or somebody else) will create an ext for it.

And yea, I know about the 'create it yourself crap, but I'm actually fine with FoxIt just like it is regardless...

Mozilla preparing to push Firefox 3 update on all Firefox 2 users (Download Squad)

Aug 20th 2008 6:49PM What? Are they learning one from M$ or something? I'll use FF3 when I'm sure that all my ext's work with it. Until then, I know where it is, not that it was easy to find after that cattle call to update last time...

Jan 8th 2008 2:15PM That 'couple' link makes McAfee's SiteAdvisor badge turn yellow, so I'll just keep waiting on the ftp download thank you very much, especially since the 'mirrors' link no longer has the file anyway.

Gmail warns against Greasemonkey scripts (Download Squad)

Dec 5th 2007 4:35PM I am never gonna use Gmail 2 until it stops locking up on me. I realize I forgot to go back to the older version everytime I send or view a msg in Gmail 'cause FF just gets locked up on me. I have no problem with the old version. And it's not my machine or profile because it just happened to me today at another location on their laptop.

What would be really nice is me being able to choose which version I want to use and it staying persistent, something apparently Googleites aren't familiar with!

Clean your registry and junk files with WiseCleaner (Download Squad)

Nov 28th 2007 6:13PM I saw that in Technet too, and had the same results as you. I'm sure it shocked the CCleaner guys too!

Mozilla aims to reduce Firefox memory usage (Download Squad)

Nov 12th 2007 4:17PM Speaking of cache, have you ever tried using the Portable Apps version of Firefox? Exactly! I never have a problem.

If you wanna talk about bad code, check out any of the Google owned websites; those things are horrible. No wonder they asked everybody to turn off Firebug when using GMail. You can watch the error counter reach for the sky when on a Google Maps page, just horrible!
