Beta Beat: New to Safari 3 (TUAW.com)

Jun 13th 2007 12:39AM @37: I also had the problem of not being able to close any of the windows. Turned out it was a problem with one of the plugins I had installed (I would get an error message on application start). I removed the plugin and now it works great.

Initially Safari 2 would work great and run fast and then over time it would get slower (even with cache turned off) and display the beach ball a lot. Safari 3 has not yet had this behavior. I'm hoping that Apple fixed whatever the problem.

Mac OS X updates disable or damage PowerBooks? (Engadget)

Jan 14th 2006 4:49PM I had the RAM problem after upgrading to 10.4.4 on January 10th, 2006. I called Apple Tech Support and am now sending the 15" Powerbook back to Apple for repair.

Colin S: From everything that I've read/seen first hand, the RAM problem occurs immediately following an OS upgrade. Can you source your reference for the soldering failing? Thanks.

Jul 29th 2005 12:33PM I have a pretty detailed review of Smugmug, Flickr, Zoto on my site: http://www.illiteratewithdrawal.com/2005/05/smugmug-vs-flickr/ Everyone knows of Smugmug and Flickr, but Zoto is a newcomer that offers a very powerful interface and 2G of storage for free. However, I would recommend Smugmug, Flickr, and finally Zoto in that order. Reasons why are on my site. However, the Picasa/Gmail/Blogger integration is now quite nice too. Scott

Google free email (aka GMAIL) privacy concerns (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)

Apr 27th 2004 8:18PM and therefore is not yet available to the general public. An annoucement will be made when gmail is publically available. Some active users of Blogger.com were given the opportunity to beta test Gmail. I was one of those lucky users and, let me tell you, Gmail is great! I've switched over to it as my main email address!
