Sep 12th 2005 3:11PM Just got back to school and for some dumb reason the entire network here at Cedarville U. went haywire and some of us had to release and renew our IPs. Go figure. While I had ComSci and ComEng friends to help me figure that one out in about ten seconds, this is a really good and simple solution for the ignorant masses. Was there a reason they don't include this in NT or XP?

Sep 4th 2005 12:26AM I've been using Gaim for the past two years and I really see no need to change right now, nothing out there really does anyhting new that makes me want to change. Plus it's Open Source, has no ads, and just works the way I think an IM app should. If I really wanted to do VOIP then I would open Skype, but it's very rare compared to text. The one downside is file transfers...They really need to do something about that rather large weak link.

Aug 3rd 2005 8:51PM Well BitLord works fine in Vista so far in my tests, and I'm not sure why you would think this really isn't ready. I've been using it for almost a week with no Real problems ( by real I mean anything beyond normal windows issues). I think it's a fine piece of software and I'm gonna be disappointed when it expires...(Any one got a crack for That yet?)

Jul 29th 2005 1:05AM Since disappointment is the general reaction to anything Microsoft (aside from rage and frustration), I shouldn't have been nearly as disappointed as I was, but somehow they droped the ball further than I thought possible. For all the hype and time that it took, I really hoped for better. It's a sad little browser, that really wasn't worth the five minutes it took for me to download and install. I realize that it's still in beta, but I've seen the future for M$ and it doesn't look promising..
