Jun 23rd 2006 3:01PM I get garbage on my Macbook Pro screen all the time when I wake from sleep .. usually when I've recently connected or disconnected my Cinema Display. The garbage seems to be focused around certain things, like the Dock and Flash movies.
I'm not sure why these would be particularly susceptible -- maybe they're drawn by CoreImage?

Check out iVisit (http://www.ivisit.com/). Its a cross platform video conferencing tool and it works great. Mostly importantly, its free! Granted, I haven't tested it on my Macbook Pro, but it worked great on my 12" PB.
