May 6th 2009 4:41PM I've had my MacBook 2 1/2 years, and the original power brick is in (almost) pristine condition. That said, I have a second power brick that is 1/2 a year old that is beat up beyond belief.

Like Kim said, the MagSafe is the best thing since Sliced Bread- I think there's just a lot of users that are abusing them.

Oct 15th 2008 4:25PM Firewire certainly isn't a deal breaker. I've had my White MB for two years and have needed to use the firewire.

That said, I haven't done much in the way video editing and am wanting to get into that.

Apple should rethink (or, at least, rationalize) their decision.

Oct 4th 2008 12:37AM The problem with Vista is it's System Requirements. Some of these computer aren't meant for Vista. Furthermore, computer that will run Vista can run XP even faster. I have both XP and Vista, and besides the "Aero Glass", I see no reason to upgrade an XP comptuer to Vista.
