Logitech's new Harmony IR repeater (Engadget HD)
Nov 3rd 2009 7:34PM For $59 this seems like a great deal. I have a Harmony 890 RF, and while currently I have each component set up for an individual stick-on emitter, I have used the RF/IR base in blaster mode without any issues in the past. For those that don't want to spend close to $300 for the 890 (or hate the feel of the buttons), this is definitely work looking at.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles: Born to Run (season finale) (AOL TV)
Apr 11th 2009 5:49PM I think I understand now, Greg. Thanks. Weaver must have traveled back in time, then created the technology to be able to jump into the future. Makes sense as this whole show's premise is that Sara, John, and Cameron jumped forward 7 years already.

Apr 11th 2009 5:24PM I thought it was Terminator cannon that you could not jump into the future, onlly the past. Is that not true?

Nov 27th 2007 9:28AM Vista has a great built in tool for screen captures. Check out the "Snipping Tool" under Accessories. You can even assign a keyboard hot key to it by going into the shortcut properties and setting whatever you want.
RTX Telehealth Monitor keeps you in contact with your doctor (Engadget)
Nov 19th 2007 7:47PM Just as an FYI to some Engadget visitor, telehealth is nothing new, and devices such as this have been around for quite a few years. A couple that comes to mind are the McKesson/HealthHero HealthBuddy and the Honeywell HomMed system. The Honeywell system even has a wireless network transmission system called "SkyNet", lol. The HealthHero is in widespread use in the Boston VA system. The problem with the whole concept is that is incredibly expensive for the healthcare agency to deploy, and the Medicare system is slow to begin any reimbursement systems.
NBA "Hardwood Classics Game", 70's style silent broadcast meets 2006-style high definition (Engadget HD)
Jan 25th 2006 1:04PM SportsChannel Boston (currently Fox Sports New England) did this in the late 90's for a Boston Celtics game. They had a couple cameras in a typical seat location and rarely switched the active. There was no announcer. Obviously it was not in HD, but it was a really neat experiment for the time.
