Sep 12th 2008 11:10PM "Computerworld highlighted several irate comments from an Apple Discussions thread on the subject, including precious gems such as 'I love how Apple owns up to problems... IT'S NOT US! IT MUST BE YOU! OR MICROSOFT! OR YOUR MOUSE! OR YOUR CHAIR!'"Isn't this part of the Apple stance? If Microsoft software screws up on OS X, it's Microsoft's fault. If Apple software screws up on Windows, it's Microsoft's fault. As a long time Mac user, I'm getting a bit fed up with knee-jerk, Apple-lover reactions. Apple is just as fallible as Microsoft when it comes to software design. The only difference is that Apple has the ability to release new Mac vs. PC ad and regain the faith of the people.Apple apologists: Look inward and drink the Kool-Aid of rational though.
Aug 7th 2008 1:51PM Did you really just suggest that blind people start *looking* more? Classic!
Jul 31st 2008 11:01PM Actually, I was just thinking the graphics were refreshingly simple. They show you exactly what you need to know, without being over-bearing/overly shiny.

Jul 29th 2008 1:58AM It's an oval. I distrust anyone offering design services if they don't have an appreciation for simple geometry.
Jul 28th 2008 11:22PM Fred,Phanbouy has a point, but he missed what you were alluding to: There's a good deal of sensible Windows users here who are (rightly) sick and tired of the vocal minority of actual Apple noisemakers.I'm an Apple user and, yes, I like OS X more than Windows, but I'm not about to delude myself into thinking either platform is without strengths and weaknesses.Unfortunately, the people who make the most noise and draw the most attention are the fanboys, and the moderate majority tend to stay silent. There's usually not much point in commenting since we're not often heard over the din of them.
Jul 17th 2008 1:02AM Everyone:Y'all actually love this beast?! There's not an original line on this car. It's got the maw of a demented BMW Z8, the hood of a Corvette C6, the belt line of an Olds Aurora and the tail of a Rx-8.It's like the designers mashed their favourite bits together in Photoshop and ran a "distribute proportions haphazardly" filter.I christen this thing "The Homer".
Jul 12th 2008 5:49AM Ha! Personally, I find anything funny if it's written as a commandment...or whatever the "blessed are thou" style is called.
