Dec 19th 2006 10:57AM OR maybe it has more to do with Christmas being commercialized as a secular holiday celebrating Santa (and not the Deity it's named for). Because, while I agree this is a "Christian" holiday, it has been secularized in the same way it was "chrisitanized" from the pagan celebrations (not of the same name). All this leads to "why is everyone so afraid to say "merry Christmas" because it only means something if you mean something by it.
