Jan 7th 2010 12:23AM i wanted to do a clean install of SL on an old MacBook mid-2007 so I decided to boot from the SL disc and do a "zero out data" erase and format. It started nicely and then all of a sudden crashed.
My MacBook restarted and won't mount the HD anymore. Does this mean that my HD is dead? Or should I go and connect it to a desktop or something and try to knock some sense back to the HD?
Help!
