Aug 24th 2005 5:42AM The client is available now and works pretty cool, nice and minimal I can see a lot of work will be done, but I have yet to try to voice mode (pc has no sound card). Any one who wants to test it can add me - email@example.com
Aug 24th 2005 5:37AM I showed this off at school and productivity in my class has dropped to nothing, every screen has signseeing people playing the google earth game. But our hometown has the worst imagery you could think of (search for west wallsend, australia) but when the entire earth has image quality equal to that of over las veagas airport.
Aug 19th 2005 9:09AM I have been using wackget since the beggining of this year and have been using http://downloadwithplus.mozdev.org/ to send downloads from firefox to wackget for most of that time, the best part is the download continuation (when the conncetion cuts out - handy for dialuppers like me) and minimization to tray.
Aug 16th 2005 6:06PM I Used to use BBLean for about 3 months some time again, but when you install it as your default shell opening up explorer file manager can be rather lagged, this shell would be great if there was a freely available filemanager replacement that does not rely on anything other than simply being installed. Apart from that BBLean is a great shell to play around with if you are up for a change, the multiple desktops is a great feature you wont want to leave :-)
Aug 16th 2005 5:04AM I am a fan of Daemon tools because you can basically mount any image file no matter what program created it, and can be handy for incase the burning programs dont support an image, you just mount the image, and fireup your image buring program and do a simple disc clone, it works fine, if this program supports more than -.iso then I might have a look.
Aug 14th 2005 6:36PM I havn't tried this yet as I don't have a winodws 95 cd rom around but I am going to try the knoppix boot image and I will post back on my findings.
