This is why you should use Internet Explorer 9 (Download Squad)

Sep 30th 2010 1:35AM I used the ie9 beta for a couple of days and absolutely loved it. I used to use ie, then switched to FireFox for several years, then to Chrome. I would switch back to IE again, but one major non-feature keeps me from doing so. On Chrome and FireFox I can (via the browser or a plugin) add sites to my New Tab Page. They get pinned there in the order I want. It helps me organize the sites I visit. IE9 not only doesn't provide that feature, but their New Page tab (which shows sites frequently visited and not ones you pin there) does not allow for any user customization. That's a major flaw. The New Tab should allow customization so I can select to view sites their way or Pin sites to the New Tab page and organize them myself. Why would IE9 allow me to Pin a site to the Taskbar, but not to a New Page tab?

That's the only reason I didn't switch back to IE.

How to show more sites on your Internet Explorer new tab page (Download Squad)

Sep 30th 2010 1:28AM Where Microsoft went wrong was in not allowing users to customize the Tab page (i.e. Speed Dial). I don't want a list of sites I've visited that move around on the Tab every time I reopen it. I want to be able to pin my favorite sites to the Tab Page. This is a major flaw in the otherwise outstanding new beta release of IE9.

Battlestar Galactica: Unfinished Business (AOL TV)

Dec 17th 2006 1:38AM I'm at the point where I'm about ready to stop watching Battlestar Galactica because of episodes like this one. The amount of flash backs, flash forwards, flash sideways, etc. is extremely distracting and annoying.

I think the writing/production team made a huge mistake between season 2 and this season in jumping so far ahead into the future and trying to rely on flashbacks for the next however many years to tell us what happened.

It would have been much better if they kept the timeline moving chronologically forward versus throwing us all around the universe and timeline. Doing such avoids the ability to create real depth to the story as we are now limited to flashback "glimpses". Huge mistake. I wouldn't be surprised to see ratings lower than last year. I'm about to jump off this ship and I was a faithful and loyal season 1 and season 2 viewer.
