Mine wa a C64, first "real" computer, was an old 8088 , I ran an old Fidonet BBS too... then it slipped into the 286 - 386 area

Feb 16th 2009 8:46PM Seattle here, there are something like 5 $tar bux with in a mile of my place and I think a KFC/TacoBell at the edge of that mile. I really dont like Starbucks very much, I would trade for a few small quality eateries

Feb 15th 2009 6:54PM The Greek place I worked at last year here in Seattle my bosses mom made all the 'traditional spreads and taught me how to make them as well. Her whole family is Greek, her sister makes their phillo from scratch which is pretty amazing , something I never mastered. but she always made the skordlia with bread and prolly 50 cloves of garlic for a batch, very tasty stuff. I feel pretty priviliged to have learned the things I did from some ones Greek mother.

Feb 13th 2009 2:35PM Greetings, I desperately need to replace my current BFG card which has a dead fan on it, suprised that its not burned up,probably helps that I dont use the heat in my computer room as money has been awfully tight.

Feb 10th 2009 1:51PM Interesting article. I just turned 37 and 2 weeks there after I had a stroke and can no longer work.
Cooking alone is difficult. I only moved here to Seattle recently and I really dont have any friends or family to help with things, but thankfully there are a few people at the grocery store across the street that are willing to carry my groceries home for me and sometimes help me shop. I get about 180$ in food stamps a month, and there is a "Food not Bombs" group meet that I could try and go to, they hand out free veggies and i have found some pretty good stuff there, some times I can find some one who can give me a ride if I can chip in a buck or two for gas. I think I survive pretty well on what I get. I eat alot of sammiches and stay away from junk pretty much completely.except for my current addiction to gummy worms.
