Dragon Quest IX ditches the Wi-Fi Connect? (Joystiq Nintendo)

May 9th 2007 4:14PM (after reading the whole article) Yeah, there's no mention of online multiplayer (only local), but perhaps they're saving that announcement for later?

Dragon Quest IX ditches the Wi-Fi Connect? (Joystiq Nintendo)

May 9th 2007 3:50PM It says ニンテンドーWi-Fiコネクション対応予定 "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection compatibility planned" in the info box in the first scan, so no need to worry :)

Sony to launch YouTube competitor in Japan (Download Squad)

Apr 26th 2007 10:18PM Nico Nico Douga (http://www.nicovideo.jp/), a video sharing site launched earlier this year then relaunched in March with their own servers and better video quality than YouTube, is already quite popular, so Sony's got more than a bit of catching up to do here.

Live Music. Mega Man II. Total rock domination. (Joystiq)

Mar 2nd 2006 4:43PM Sounds pretty cool so I'd like to go to it, but probably won't be able to (stupid midterms and papers and such)... oh well.

Grandia DS? Oh, yes! (Joystiq Nintendo)

Jan 23rd 2006 11:55PM Might I offer a human translation? (as best I can here)

Watch: In casual gaming in 2005 the presence of Animal Crossing and Mario Kart DS was large to say the least. Everyone can play online easily and cheaply. To say it dramatically, the online market suddenly went "bang!" overnight, going over one million [users]. What are your thoughts about this?

Morishita: We feel there's a very big opportunity here. Since we make software we don't care about what hardware it's on. Game Arts is now developing on the DS, and this is absolutely my own "what if?", but I think it'd be okay to make a mini-version or side story of "Grandia Online" for the DS. I'm extremely pleased with this kind of environment. I'd like to welcome it.
