Aug 1st 2008 10:14AM I am pretty sure at least one iphone developer has told me that the license agreement explicitly prohibits tethering. Or their contract with AT&T.

Why are we missing the more important issue here: what would have happened if this was malware? Is Apple screening these apps?

Jul 12th 2008 3:32PM The switch on the side of the iphone is NOT a "silencer". It is a ringer on/off switch. It will not silence alarms or ipod functions, either.

Permissions differ on "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAgent", should be -rwsr-xr-x , they are -rwxr-xr-x .
